La pedregada

XXVII Premi Ciutat d'Alcoi de Teatre Pep Cortés

Sánchez Pacheco, David

What seems like a normal dinner, with all the absurdity of that word, becomes the anteroom of a human, vital confession, capable of closing a door once and for all, however, closing doors implies opening the birth of new ones: of old stories that are yet to be written, of empty cages, of unfinished novels, of candles that are blown out. It is the birthday and last day of Oriol's life as he lived it. His father, his mother and his high school friend are invited to a dinner where nothing is what it seems, where time is another host, where time is more than time, where thousands of questions seek answers without an apparent success. Only the questions will be answered with the senses of those who follow the story, with the doubts of those who have never suffered for love, with the desire for a new life that begins, with a secret that should never have been secret, with a breath of life that humanizes, with the ambiguity of the storm that vomits the truths of a world seen through the glasses of a father, a mother, a friend and Freedom.
