Compañera de nuestros días

antología de poemas y prosa con presencia de mujer

Hernández, Miguel

The work of Miguel Hernández is characterized, among other things, by an evocative concern for the human being in his ethical contribution to the ideal of coexistence developed by the poet himself. In this process, completed with the aesthetic practice that her desire to be more of a true poet demanded of her, the woman occupies, in her different social attributions, a very relevant role, from the initial shelter of childhood to the family, work representativeness , affective and political, passing through the various mythological images. And in all those roles, highlighted in the poems and prose of this anthology, the poet also prints his own sentimental and social commitment. The writer and president of the Association of Friends of Miguel Hernández, José Luis Esparcia, selects forty-four poems and six prose texts with the presence of a woman for this anthology, which covers from the first poems in 1923 to the months before his death. in March 1942. The selection of poems is preceded by a presentation by the writer Fanny Rubio and an introduction by the anthologist in which this selection is contextualized in the Hernandian creative universe.
