Gail Gibbons, better known as the superhero Golden Gail, is a middle-aged woman locked in a girl's body, so to keep up appearances in the small town where they live, she has no choice but to go to class. She was transferred to Eunice and Barbara's high school, but three years later, these two friends have not heard from her. However, her cousin Windy, identical to her to such an extent that anyone could confuse them, has just arrived. Meanwhile, the Shack of Horrors is looking for a new caretaker, perhaps a clueless young man. In the streets of Spiral, the government has put into circulation a superhero, Slam, a fact that has not sat well with old Abe. In space, Madame Dragonfly triumphs on screen. But, how will the episode of the space soap opera in which she stars end? Will the character played by Golden Gail be able to free herself from that old-fashioned patriarchal trap that simultaneously feeds and oppresses her?
