Una casa llena de gente

Literature is, neither more nor less, a house full of people, or at least it is for Leila, a frustrated translator and writer for whom time is organized in and for books. However, her life is much more complex: she has to face the demands of the domestic and of a most demanding mother, the fearsome Granny, proud English-born, pragmatic and critical. And then there is the castello that shapes a plot that advances through the unsaid, the contrast between points of view, humor and mystery. Predicting her own death, Leila bequeaths her daughter Charo her diaries and a collection of family photographs and films, and a list of instructions on what to do with it. Little by little, Charo will rediscover a facet of her mother, hidden until now.
