Tranvía de pasajeros sin figura
Delgado, Javier (1972- )
Jacinto Mendoza reaches the end of his days with a failed mission: to reunite with his only daughter, whom he has not seen since he left her in the care of some aunts to start a new life in Germany in the sixties. The only thing left for him is to dictate her memoirs in the hope that they will somehow reach her hands as a posthumous act. The writing of this final and desperate letter, however, not only intends to heal the wounds caused by the trauma of the separation and the subsequent lack of news, but also to offer a version of himself, of Jacinto Mendoza told by Jacinto Mendoza, who, by way of a preventive war, counteract and annul all the stories and portraits that others might have raised about and against him during his absence.
