Kuko is a fifteen year old teenager who lives with her father in Kobe. Always with a beaming smile on her face, she is inseparable from her best friend and classmate Kiyo. But Ou, a boy who studies the arts high school with whom she meets on her way to high school, seems to glimpse the secrets that his heart hides. On the other hand, Ôda has apparently seen one of Kuko's photographs on her blog and has stolen her idea for the art exhibition. When Kuko finds out, instead of getting angry, she keeps showing her typical smile, but some tears also start to fall... Why does she keep smiling if she's sad? Will Ôda discover what Kuko hides behind this forced expression?
