Why is it so wrong if it makes us feel so alive? He smelled of prohibition, he smelled of a summer night in some exotic place, of exquisite fruits that he had never tasted, he smelled of desire, of life. A love that hurts... She was his student, a lonely boy addicted to books and music who barely smiled. He had invaded his dreams even before he met him after a violent accident in which his head was damaged, preventing him from retaining the memories of him. He made her go crazy. He began to want her. He wanted her so badly and so hard that he felt like she was delusional. But they were teacher and student in the framework of an orphanage in Bologna in Italy in the middle of 1980. They couldn't love each other. It was wrong. And still they did. Now Mario meets that woman, at sixty-five years old, who hopelessly forgets the love of her life and herself. Mario, who knows that her way of loving is also fine, tries by all means he can remember. Then he finds some videotapes full of her life, in which he tells herself everything he fought for, everything he wanted from that boy with the curly hair and the smell of life of hers.
