VIII Premi Memorial Agustí Vehí-Vila de Tiana
Santasusagna, Jordi
Matallops is a small village of almost five hundred inhabitants, located at the foot of the Pre-Pyrenees cliff. In 1992, specifically on the evening of the opening of the Barcelona Olympic Games, Andreu Massot arrived, better known as Quisca, a sour and dirty pig killer who lives in an old and deplorable farmhouse and returns from Cuba accompanied of his wife, Maylin. But Andreu's life in Matallops is so primitive that the poor girl can't spend a single night there. This will be the last misfortune that Quisca's weak understanding will be able to bear. Meanwhile, his older brother returns unexpectedly after more than fifty years of not knowing anything about it, and together they carry out a series of ruthless revenges for the grievances the family has suffered since the Civil War, a time when the eldest of the Massots he ambushed himself for not having to go to war.
