For a nonna, love consists of putting food on the table, and pasta is the perfect medium for the most valuable ingredients to spread further. During a research trip to Italy, Vicky Bennison realized that this culinary talent was not being passed on to younger generations, a gap that led her to create Pasta Grannies, a YouTube channel that has caused a sensation and has been a resounding success. From the buttery cheesy gnocchi of the northern mountains to the tomato-based sauces from the garden served with knobby, twisted pasta from the sunny south, each nonna has her own special recipe.
