This manual is a complete, real and effective guide that facilitates the opponent an exhaustive preparation of the didactic course as part of the first test of the opposition process of the Body of Teachers in Primary Education. The manual has been adapted to both Organic Law 2/2006, of May 3, on Education (LOE), in its consolidated text (2020), and Royal Decree 157/2022, of March 1, which they establish the organization and the minimum teachings of Primary Education. The text is divided into different parts. In the first place, the characteristics of the first part of the system of access to the teaching function through competition-opposition are made explicit, taking into account Royal Decree 276/2007, of February 23, which approves the Entry Regulations, access and acquisition of new specialties in teaching bodies, modified by Royal Decree 270/2022, of April 12. It regulates the transitory admission regime referred to in the seventeenth transitory provision of Organic Law 2/2006, of May 3, on Education. Next, a brief theoretical framework is developed on the practical assumptions that locates them directly in the teaching and learning methodology called the case method. Thirdly, the characteristics that define the practical part of the first test of the competitive examination are established, that is, the didactic assumptions. In it, a tour of the state and regional regulations that regulate them is made. Consecutively, a possible categorization of the practical cases is carried out as a result of the extensive experience of the authors in the field of preparing for oppositions. Fifth, the qualification criteria for this practical part of the first examination of the opposition (structural, formal and development) are collected. Subsequently, guidelines are offered for its preparation and a proposal for the structure of the practical case.
