What is NEUROEDUCATION? Can we talk about NEUROEDUCATORS, a new profession? Since the first edition of "Neuroeducation" four years ago, interest in new teaching and education based on how the brain works has increased enormously. It is an incontrovertible fact that what we are, think, feel, learn, memorize and express in our behavior and language is an expression of the functioning of our brain in constant interaction with the rest of the organs of the body, and of this with everything that it surrounds, from the physical and the chemical, to the familiar, the social and the culture in which one lives. In the 22 chapters that make up this book that we now present in its second revised edition, the importance of emotion and empathy, curiosity, the mechanisms of attention, the brain's own process of learning and consolidation are discussed. memory, circadian rhythms and many other ingredients that influence to innovate and improve teaching. The interest generated leads us to hope that important changes will occur in our western societies, where, finally, it begins to recognize and accept "with depth" that the human being is what education makes of him.
