Los asesinatos de la xana
Mel, Pepe
Nothing will be the same after October 1934, perhaps because the mythological "cuélebre" lurks? October Revolution of 1934. In the midst of a general strike that failed in the rest of Spain, 9,000 Asturian miners rose up against the authorities, taking control of the town halls and Civil Guard barracks. The left-wing parties are terrified to observe the rise of European fascism and the support of Lerroux's republican right. In the midst of this dramatic revolt, a series of tragic events lead us to meet two brothers: Pelayo, the ringleader who will guide the miners to Oviedo, and David, "El Guaje", the coroner in charge of carrying out the investigation of the murders in the mining basin. The first was forced to work in the extraction of coal from the age of 14 after the death of his mother and the alcoholism of his father, while his brother was able to lead a carefree life, far from the problems of the land. A serial killer emerges amidst the vindictive and emotional chaos. Each death is related to a strange being from Asturian mythology. What are the real reasons? Why does he act in such a way? Was he born to kill or does his death hide a message? Mythological murders. Too many suspicions. Will it be possible to discover the truth?
