Lloviendo bombas

Lloviendo bombas

una semana en Donbass

Cacchione, David

Many things have been said and are being said about Ukraine; but there are many more who remain silent. Overwhelmed by the avalanche with which the general media have "covered" -in the true sense of the word- the special operation in Moscow, we might have the impression that Ukraine did not even exist before February 24, 2022. Just as there seemed to be no Donbass either. However, the facts say the opposite and keep reminding us that there is a massive Ukrainian neo-Nazi insurgency, that on May 2, 20214 the massacre took place in the House of Trade Unions in Odessa and that the deaths of the People's Republics in the long years of bombardments ordered by the kyiv government now add up to fourteen thousand. Among the witnesses to this conflict is David Cacchione who, together with the Anti-Fascist Caravan, has never stopped denouncing what was happening a few hours by plane from Rome in the face of general indifference. Now, with Raining Bombs, he has returned to Donbass to give voice to a reality that is stubbornly running counter to the prevailing climate of Russophobia. An invaluable testimony against the hypocrisy with which the European Union and NATO continue to serve the economic and political interests of US imperialism, at the cost of dragging the entire world into a new global conflict.
