La voz de los árboles

The Goodenough family has left 19th-century New England behind for the swamps of Ohio, bringing with them a few branches from their favorite apple tree. But in the garden they plant, the seeds of discord between James and Sadie Goodenough also sink. While James loves sweet apples, Sadie prefers to take refuge in cider. These irreconcilable differences affect their children and force the youngest of them, Robert, to leave Ohio and seek his fortune. The love for trees, inherited from his father, accompanies him on his journey to the West.
