I Premi literari "Lletres de Mercat"

Milà, Josep

Year 1968. Elvira is a twenty-one-year-old girl who works in the market in the morning and studies Teaching at the Normal School in the afternoon. One day he stumbles upon some subversive and attention-grabbing roles. In the village where he lives, in the Vallès Occidental, he will look for someone to accompany him in his actions. A friend, who has been in prison for being gay, and what will later be her boyfriend will help her. This will reveal that Grandpa Quimet is more committed than he seems. At the same time, the people of the village market have begun to catalanize the sale signs and this causes them to be put in charge of "the old guard", to repress them. And at the same time there is a foreign conspiracy, close to the Americans, who controls the resources of the state through the dictatorial leader, who owes them many favors and blindly obeys them. These people have a project precisely in the village of Elvira.
