Kalaportutik Iurretara

Joseba Sarrionandia irakurriz

Asurmendi, Mikel

For the past three years, I have been on the trail of the gaukari of Havana, turning my eyes often, going left and right, to his art, beads, pieces or tessellations. A harbinger of the writer's return, through the landscape of his literature, hinting at the final passage of his essay. In fact, it is well known that we readers observe two landscapes: that of life and that of literature. Often, however, experiencing only one landscape; running, stopping often on the way, turning his eyes. Mentoring among those who take us to new horizons in Joseba Sarrionandia's literature, I have limited myself to the last writings. I have considered Havana's gaukari as such, because they contain substantial thoughts on various topics and, also, after forty years, they are the first to make it clear in the manner and from where they wrote them.
