Juli Soler que estás en la sala
vida (y casi milagros) del creador con Ferran Adrià de ElBulli
Caballero, Óscar
This book must sound like rock and the clash of cutlery. It is the story of a famous little-known, Juli Soler, prophet of rock in Catalonia in 1968/80, colleague of the Rolling Stones and since 1981 inventor of a Bulli on the rocks and a room with the rhythm of flying saucers. Between 1984 and 2011, Juli Soler chose the background to give the first to a chef he had intuited: Ferran Adrià. And to the best wines in the world. And above all to the people, without distinction of classes or categories. Hand in hand with Juli, princesses and tycoons let themselves be guided, humble for once. And the unranked were treated like stars. Soler removed starch from the haute cuisine restaurant, replaced the menu with a festival, and thus forged the environment of the revolutionary cuisine of a Bulli in world orbit. In turn, elBulli propelled urbi et orb Catalan cuisine, in particular, and Spanish cuisine, in general. In this book, a choir of voices - from restaurants, music, wine; from Spain and France- explains, between signs of admiration, the Juli Soler of each one. But because everyone thought they knew him, and few people knew him, a solar and multiple Juli Soler navigates this book of gastronomic adventures.
