Fills del món
Romero, Mireia
When Mireia and Carlus decided, at the end of 1998, to adopt in Nepal, they started an exciting adventure. The cumbersome bureaucratic procedures, the fears and uncertainties experienced for years suddenly disappeared when they finally arrived at the Balmandir orphanage to meet Bhagawati and discover, in addition, that the girl had a brother who was already in Catalonia and a sister eldest, Dambari, who was also in the orphanage. Mireia and Carlus did everything in their power -and more- to get the two of them to stay with them, and happily so it happened. It is never easy, however, to leave your world behind and build a new one. You must lose the fear of searching for your own origins. And when the daughters were already teenagers, they decided to return to their native village in the mountains of Nepal and find out what had happened there years ago. It was necessary to look to the past with courage to build the future. Children of the World allows us to also take this journey with them to discover the need to love and to be loved and, above all, to understand the strength of a mother to encourage her daughters to soar.
