We have long heard of a crisis of values, accentuated by the pandemic suffered in recent years. Values that were solid and on which education was based, have been relegated to the background, giving way to a sometimes fierce individualism and relativism. For Jordi Nomen, an unavoidable reference in the field of philosophy for children, these types of statements do not correspond to reality, neither in the sphere of the family nor in that of the school. Most parents and educators know perfectly well that a "good life" still involves cultivating kindness and love, even though that, indeed, often collides with new models of social and personal success. Submerged in this great contradiction, it is inevitable that there will be a clash between the educational project of families and schools, and such social models.
