The Dao government is faltering. Several members of the upper echelons of power do not view favorably the council of nations project proposed by General Andren, Kaidu's father. Everything accelerates with a coup d'état that unleashes chaos in the palace. Quickly, the city finds itself under siege and Kaidu begins to doubt who to trust. However, thanks to Rata, he is able to obtain the Napatha formula, an ancient weapon that could bring victory to whoever makes it. The inhabitants of The Nameless City will have to prepare again to witness, helplessly, the confrontation of foreign nations that are once again fighting for the city.
