When a person is broken, it cannot be repaired. It may be possible to heal the physical wounds, hide the scars, but the inside is never put back together. Over time, pain becomes a habit, you live with it. He may even become a loyal friend, but he never gets over it. The best you can hope for is to endure it. Miriam Muntasir knew this very well. She had been struggling for months to recover from all the physical and moral damage that had been inflicted on her just for being a woman and a Yazidi. Vulnerable, defenseless, easy prey, she had been subjected to all kinds of torture to force her to give up everything she was as a human being. And the Daesh fanatics had almost succeeded. But, having descended into the worst of hells, the only thing left for her to do was to get up and demand what was rightfully hers, to her, to her people, to all of her people: her revenge. The cold, calm, thoughtful and comforting revenge. But, Miriam was not the only one who sought to make the terrorists pay for their crimes. Malik al Gharoudi, a young man with a promising future, had, ten years earlier, left the love of his life, his family and his friends to settle accounts with those who, in the name of a faith whose message they had twisted into a aberration, they killed indiscriminately all those who did not think like them: the Taliban, Al Qaeda, Daesh... Only, transformed into another, it turned out to be the most devastating "Trojan horse." Becoming a legend after successfully completing more operations than he remembered, he was forced to accept one last mission to eliminate the last vestiges of extremist horror. Miriam and Malik come from different backgrounds but share a common goal, which is why they become unexpected partners in anti-terrorist action along with a multinational group of brave men, in a race against time through various European countries and North Africa.
