Corpórea

poesía 2010-2022

Sanz, Marta

Corpórea brings together the poetry that Marta Sanz has written between 2010 and 2022, from her published work -poetry books, plaquettes and "splinters" of novels- to two unpublished sets: Perfectly modern tribute ruins, texts cohesive by reflection on thought and language, and the political and pandemic vision of Monjitas. These poems arise from the body. Of the body in relation to oneself and with one's own identity, also with others: and here love and sex and desire appear, family, otherness, the time that passes and marks us. They arise from the body as the physicality of thought, considering the need -the usefulness- of writing, reading as the symbol of interpretation, and here ideology: ideology, above all. And at the same time they arise from a fierce and radical writing: "I don't want to lose my animal./ Don't let it go," Marta Sanz warns us.
