Con los cinco sentidos

This volume, which can be understood as a second part, or continuation, of the one entitled "The empty subject. Culture and poetry in Babel territory" published by Ediciones Cátedra in the year 2000, brings together a selection of works written throughout the first two decades of this millennium and only partially recast or reworked for the occasion. Although, individually, each one of the texts collected here responded in its day to independent and particular demands and circumstances, they all assume the same way of understanding and approaching critical work, so that they have a common thread that converts the whole , despite its fragmentary appearance, in an articulated book. Its unity, however, is not of the thematic order, but responds to the logic of an interdisciplinary perspective, typical of the way in which the author has faced, from the beginning of his career, both poetic, as translationological or properly theoretical -Analytical, its methodological option when dealing with comparativism; a look that is based on the search for a relational transversality that allows responding to common epistemological problems, despite the variety of objects that serve as a starting point.
