Atrévete a retarme

Maxwell, Megan

Carolina Campbell is the youngest of the family. Unlike her sisters and brothers, who do the will of her parents, she is more restless. Her independent and challenging character scares all the men who approach her. Peter McGregor, a handsome young Highlander with an excellent sense of humor, is a horse breeder with his friends Aidan and Harald. The Campbells and the McGregors have hated each other for years because of something that happened between their ancestors and that led the McGregors to give them some land that Peter is willing to get back at all costs. And the opportunity comes suddenly when Carolina, trying to get out of a problem and barely knowing Peter, offers him the land she wants in exchange for marrying her. At first Peter refuses. Has that Campbell gone mad? In the end, seeing that in this way she will recover the properties that her father yearns for so much, he ends up accepting the marriage for a year and a day with Carolina. After that time he will not renew the marriage vows: he will return to being a free man and with the lands in his possession. But what will happen if during that year they fall in love?
