Aquest cos meu i nostre
XXXIV Premi de Narrativa Vila d'Ascó 2022
Pallisé, Clàudia
This body of mine and ours is the story of Celia, who goes to Siberia in search of solitude. When he returns to Barcelona after living among snow and furry reindeer, he realizes that life and death have followed their course, unperturbed, wherever he left. It is the story of desire, violent and untimely and bright as the summer sun. And death, also violent and untimely and cruel like blood. It is the story of mourning, carried like slabs, on the backs of the women of a family. And, above all, it is the story of the restlessness of many broken and sore bodies trying to get out of their long and painful lethargy and find, at last, a truce to rest.
