Antilletan galdurik

During the three hundred long years of occupation of the Castilian crown in America, one of the greatest thefts and genocides of humanity took place. XIX A Spanish national history created in the second half of the century not only denies that destruction, but blames all the evils on the famous Black Tale against the Spanish Empire, which was created by the English, the French and the Germans (that is, all the world outside the orbit of Castile). However, it was not necessary to use such a legend to notice the level of carnage, destruction of cultures and plunder caused by the conquerors in America. It is enough to read the texts of the civil, religious and military authorities of Castile to notice the disaster caused to the local population and, in return, the wealth obtained by the invaders. In fact, together with the soldiers went the clergy, judges and governors who had only one goal: to get the most profit with the least possible expense, even if any means were used. And the Basques who went to the service of the Castilian crown have something to do with that destruction. This book is about the latter: Lost in the Antilles.
