Anarquismos
ayer, hoy y mañana
Taibo, Carlos
As a worldview and as a practice, anarchisms do not seem to be in crisis. The idea that capitalism is entering a phase of terminal corrosion that heralds a general collapse stimulates, rather, the battery of initiatives that, very heterogeneous, drink from self-management, direct action and mutual support. In Anarchisms: yesterday, today, tomorrow, Carlos Taibo pays equal attention to the past and present of anarchist movements, with the dual purpose of seeking their philosophical-theoretical foundations and examining their material deployment. With this objective, and with a non-dogmatic vocation, his proposal, his criticism of liberal democracy, the contestation of the State and capital, and the commitment to the gestation of self-managed and decommodified spaces of autonomy are weighed. Without neglecting the relationship of the libertarian world with trade unionism, feminism, environmentalism, anti-militarism and solidarity struggles, and central debates in that world, such as those related to organization, the tension between hedonism and self-containment, and the natural communities and their legacy.
