Wody

Wody

Richardson, Vincas

Frustrated pianist Robert Svenson is released from a stint in the psychiatric hospital, which he had been admitted to after being dragged down by a spiral of tragic and terrifying incidents. To finish recovering from the trauma, he moves to his childhood home, now owned by his sister Amanda, an idyllic home in the heart of the Olympic Peninsula. The two brothers will dedicate those days to making up for lost time and will make an effort to fix the problems that separated their paths years ago. But he also owes Amanda the explanation of how she ended up in the asylum. And this is the part that Robert would like to avoid, because he would have to talk about Wody. And he doesn't want to. He, well, he fears that Wody will speak to him again. Because Wody only wants one thing: for Robert to sit at the piano and play that haunting melody that's in his head, the one he secretly calls "Cursed Song" and that he swore he'd never play.
