Vladivostok
Oliván Sibat, Lluís
Before he died, Magda, Thomas's wife, was planning a trip to Vladivostok with him. Two years later, overcoming the most intense pain, he tries to find meaning in his daily life as a widower and retiree: he reads the books she left behind, travels the hills of his urbanization by bike and stays with his best friend. , who insists on finding a new partner. The summer, however, will change completely with the arrival of a new neighbor and her son, and this will make Thomas rethink what to do with his last years. In a brutally honest tone, Lluís Oliván portrays a bittersweet old age and a life full of contradictions and moments of vitality, and shows us that while we are still on the road we can say that we are still alive.
