In the year of the Lord of 1667, an English galleon leaves the port of Maracaibo and crosses the waters of the Caribbean Sea in the direction of the island of La Tortuga. He follows in the footsteps of Olonés, a bloodthirsty French buccaneer. At the helm of the ship is a character whom no one knows, whom no one has heard of, but who is determined to reach his destination at any cost. A character willing to do anything to perpetrate his revenge. An elusive and mysterious character who covers his face with a turban and who introduces himself as Ponce Baena, "el Berberisco".
