Vencer y convencer

After the institutional clash between the Generalitat and the Government of Spain in October 2017, the author recounts in first person his experience on the bench of the accused before the Supreme Court, his statement, but also the truths and lies of some of the main protagonists and witnesses in the trial, as well as the experiences and anecdotes of those long months of judicial process, lived between Madrid and Barcelona. Convinced that Spaniards should not fall back on the wrong side of history, Santi Vila dedicates the second part of his book to presenting his proposal to recover the basic constitutional consensus for coexistence and, through dialogue, retake the path of reconciliation and progress in Catalonia and in Spain as a whole.
