If you stop to think about it... My ceiling is someone's floor and my floor is someone's ceiling. And if my hand could get through this wall, it could touch someone. And this someone would be my new neighbor! Our neighbors are everywhere: next to our bedroom, above the dining room or under our kitchen. Most often they are a mystery; a presence only detected by indecipherable noises, footsteps or, perhaps, a closed door. This book explores the ways we imagine their existence (and ours) while they are strangers, and prompts us to make the courageous decision to connect with them.
