Unicorn Wars

The Unicorn Wars art book takes a tour of the creative process and graphic development of the film directed by Alberto Vázquez which, with a budget of 3 million euros, required 6 years of work by 250 professionals and which, after passing through the Annecy and Sitges film festivals, will be released in commercial theaters on October 21. From the short film Blood of the Unicorn, the origin of the feature film made by the Galician author himself, this book contains storyboard samples, concept art, layout, character design, an interview with its director, props, as well as final images of the film. Unicorn Wars tells the story of the ancient war between the bear army and the unicorns in a fantastic anti-war fable. An animated film that reflects on the origin of evil from the personal universe of Alberto Vázquez, and that "mixes the influences of Apocalypse Now, Bambi and the Bible", in his own words.
