Fifteen years had passed since Sally Stewart had last seen Phylox Lee, her best and only friend. However, when she reappears in Valley's Moon, there is little left of the shy and quiet boy who took the beatings of other students. He is now quite a man, and he hides his weaknesses under a wild and sensual appearance. Owner of one of the largest gym chains in the United States, Phylox returns with the intention of expanding his business... and getting Sally back. For this he is willing to use all possible strategies... and to reveal certain secrets of the past if necessary.
