Una mala noche la tiene cualquiera
Mendicutti, Eduardo
A happy story is that of La Madelón, an Andalusian transvestite, communist, supportive, talkative, tender, emotional and lucid who broke down on the night of February 23, 1981, as soon as he learned of the takeover of Congress by the Civil Guard. Enveloped by the precious speech of the people of the South, here are their adventures of that night, their occurrences, their memories of other times. Here, in this fervent declaration of love for freedom, are, in a way, all those Spaniards who, for years, had to live in hiding for political, cultural, economic or sexual reasons and who, during that fateful night, faced the possibility of a coup, they again feared for their right to live their own way.
