Una madre

Parejo, Alejandra

Bruna receives a call from the hospital regarding her mother, who is suffering from bipolar disorder, twenty-nine years after she abandoned her. This causes her to leave the life she has built in Paris now that she herself has just had a child and enter the place where she was born: a town in Teruel where the rural, silence and isolation show the tougher side of the relationship between a mother and daughter who don't know each other. Suddenly with two people in her charge, Bruna faces moments of loneliness and helplessness in which she feels that she is not up to the task either as a mother or as her daughter. Doubts and ghosts from the past will haunt her through all corners of a house that she does not consider her home and an isolated town that could be her condemnation or her salvation.
