Una heroína intergaláctica

Una heroína intergaláctica

Piña Valls, Román

From reform school, a fourteen-year-old boy tells us about his life. He admits to being a kleptomaniac and an alcoholic -it's 1980 and he has discovered Forges and Woody Allen- and he doesn't stop talking with his great friend Tobi, to whom he is linked by a tragic event. The nostalgia for the lost childhood and the rebellion against an incomprehensible world support this story of a boy hopelessly in love, who will submit his weak heart to the cult of Daniela, the girl of his dreams. His gaze dissects memory, beliefs, family and school, and portrays with anger and poetry a special moment, when Olivia Newton John and John Lennon shook the cosmos with their splendor and death. Beyond the abyss, Jorge Fuster's story portrays the cataclysm of abandoning childhood.
