Una extraña en la playa

Hermanson, Marie

As a child, Ulrika spent idyllic summers in Tangevik -a small Swedish coastal town- with her friend Anne-Marie, the neighbor's daughter. Until that night of San Juan in which her adoptive sister, a strange and silent girl, disappeared on the beach, changing her lives forever. Twenty-four years later, Ulrika returns to Tangevik to go through the scenes of her childhood with her two children. Everything is just as she remembered it, down to the smallest detail, as if she were looking through a window directly into the past. Letting herself be carried away by nostalgia, she Ulrika once again visits the magical beach of her childhood: under her feet the blue shells creak, the sea is calm, everything is longing and placid. Until, without warning, in a hollow between the rocks, the children make a macabre discovery...
