A story of family secrets in the golden age of New York high society. In the most prosperous circles of New York society, the wonderful Delia Lovell, married to one of the Ralstons, is the queen of parties and social events, and she is eagerly awaiting the wedding of her cousin Charlotte to Joe Ralston, which will take place very soon. Everything suggests that the girl will be as lucky as she is in marriage and that in this way the alliance between the two families will be consolidated.
