Un marido inventado

With her brother Thomas wounded on the front lines and having lost her parents, Cecilia Harcourt has two not-too-promising options: move in with a single aunt or marry a twisted-minded cousin. Instead, she chooses the third option, and she crosses the Atlantic willing to care for her brother until her recovery. But after a week of searching, she does not find Thomas, but her best friend, the handsome officer Edward Rockesby. He is unconscious and urgently needs his care, and Cecilia promises to save the soldier's life, even if staying by her side means telling a little lie... When Edward comes to, he is quite confused. The concussion on his head has made him lose his memory of the last three months, but he would no doubt remember getting married.
