A nineteenth-century explorer leaves his study to embark on a journey through the jungle. From this moment on, the path flows before his feet, transforming into an initiatory journey that the explorer travels with curiosity, fascination and without fear. The reader is invited to accompany him by delving into the poetics of Fernando Vázquez's sumptuous plates, full of literary, musical and cinematographic suggestions. If we accept his invitation to enter, we will see a rich symbolic universe emerge before our eyes, rhythmized by a game of visual associations that takes us from one page to the next.
