Un crimen con clase

Beatrice Steele, from the small town of Swampshire in the English countryside, has never fit the definition of a true lady according to the strict code of conduct that governs there: she can't sew or have a talent for music. She lives uneventfully with her mother, whose only obsession is getting a good match for her daughters, with her father, a hopeless prankster, and with her two younger sisters. However, Beatrice herself keeps a secret: she dreams of solving true crime cases that she reads about in the newspaper and has even corresponded with a London inspector. If anyone found out about her strange hobby, Beatrice would be considered a freak and she would be banned forever from her respectable social circle. When a mysterious disgraced detective shows up for no reason at the Swampshire Autumn Ball and the golden bachelor to whom her mother wants to marry another of her daughters, Louisa, collapses in the middle of the ballroom, Beatrice senses that they are caught up with a murderer and it's the perfect opportunity to solve a crime.
