Everything could have been very different. Dolors could have been a mother like everyone else, who loves her daughter; and Clara, a daughter like everyone else, who loves her mother. But it is not so. And when the daughter has to take care of the mother, old and sick, she enters a diabolical spiral. With this story, Laura Tejada approaches a topic that is present in our society, such as the problems that arise from caring for a dependent relative. After her death, she was awarded the Odyssey Reader Prize in 2015.
