Un cambio de verdad
una vuelta al origen en tierra de pastores
Martínez, Gabi
In the winter of 2017, Gabi Martínez decided to settle as a shepherd's apprentice near her mother's town, Eloísa, in La Siberia in Extremadura, to experience the rural lifestyle in which she grew up as a child. Their mission is to supervise a herd of more than four hundred sheep and spend the months in a shelter without bath or running water. His chronicle tells us about farmers, shepherds, ecologists and other inhabitants of the area, and what each one teaches them, their different ways of facing a life, related to agriculture and livestock, in a rapid process of transformation, between climate change, the new behaviors of animals and a reality that threatens to leave them behind despite their resistance.
