Like many English couples, Dick and Angel had long dreamed of a life in France, but while others might have chosen a modest retreat in the French countryside, the Strawbridges fell in love with a 19th-century fairytale castle in the Land of France. Loire, with forty-five rooms, seven outbuildings, almost five hectares of land and its own moat: the Château-de-la-Motte Husson.
