Surreal, hilarious and shocking, Your Name is a novel about a Korean American living in Berlin whose obsession with a K-pop idol sends her to Seoul on a journey of literary self-destruction. It's like her life hadn't started until Moon appeared in her. The apathy of her job as an advertising editor and the cryptic relationship with her boyfriend evaporate when she first sees Moon, the youngest and brightest member of a very popular K-pop band, on stage, where the idol's movements seem attract her to her own gravitational field in which only she exists.
