Trumpet

Trumpet

Rodríguez, Mónica

The fascination that Mateo feels for the music of Malik, a black American trumpeter who plays in the streets of Madrid, increases every day. Mateo is witness to the harsh life of a street musician, but also to the deep feelings that his music conveys: a harsh past in New Orleans, and a growing fame as a musician in the United States that truncates the love he feels for Agatha. Trumpet is the dog that accompanies the musician and Mateo's ally when he starts looking for him to help him pay a fine that the municipal police have given him. The figure of Malik, and his mysterious disappearance, will end up conditioning Mateo's destiny and his desire to dedicate himself to music.
