This notebook proposes more than 100 varied and progressive activities, in line with the pedagogies of Singapore and Maria Montessori, for children aged 5-6 to discover mathematics. Using a manipulative and image-based approach, the activities lead the child to represent graphically (diagrams and drawings) the numbers and the mathematical situations. Consolidate learning through activities in which you can re-apply the strategies discovered throughout your manipulations: schematically represent quantities and then use adapted mathematical symbols to move on to abstract representation. Use material associated with the activities: slide rules, number cards, cubes, etc. They will help you to easily implement the concrete and imaging phases of learning.
