Three tells the story of three women. The Orna seeks to recover after her husband has abandoned her and her son and formed a new family. Emilia is a Lithuanian immigrant who needs a home and a sign from God that she is on the right track. Ella, a mother of three and trapped in an unhappy marriage, returns to college to finish her thesis. All three find the same man, Gil. They don't know anything about him, because he doesn't tell them the truth, but he doesn't know everything about them either.
