The steam trains of the 19th century made safe travel for pleasure and adventure possible. With them modern tourism was inaugurated. In Spain this whole revolution began on October 28, 1848 with the line that linked the city of Barcelona with Mataró. Trains through Spain is a compilation of the most significant routes that we can find today. Some are historical trains, others stand out for the beauty of their route, there are some considered luxury and it is also possible to find themed trains that transport the traveler to another era. This book is, as its author Sergi Reboredo says, a wish list with some of the most interesting train trips that we can find in Spain. Many will be known to the public, others will not be so much or even not at all, but all of them aim to make the traveler enjoy an experience that is still very much alive today, traveling by train.
